Faton Fazliu was born and raised in the picturesque village of Patishka Reka, located about 40 kilometers from Skopje. He began his educational journey there before continuing it in the capital after his family relocated. He completed his elementary education at “Rajko Zhinzifov,” now known as “Ismail Qemali.” Motivated by a strong interest in logistics and transport, he enrolled at the “Vllado Tasevski” Technical High School in Skopje, where he graduated in 2010 as a Transport and Forwarding Technician.

During his high school years, he was actively involved in numerous NGO-led initiatives and also gained practical experience through part-time roles in the private sector. These early experiences helped lay the foundation for both his professional development and civic engagement.

Faton Fazliu began his academic journey at the International Balkan University (IBU) in 2010 with the Preparatory School. He later continued his studies in the field of Communication and Public Relations, graduating in 2015. His time at IBU marked one of the most meaningful and transformative periods of his life. It was a time of significant personal and academic growth, during which he was exposed to a rich blend of cultures, languages, and diverse perspectives. This environment broadened his worldview and equipped him with the skills and resilience needed to face future challenges. He considers his experience at IBU to have played a major role in shaping the person he is today.
