Diellza Bilalli is a distinguished alumna of the International Balkan University whose academic and professional journey reflects the core values of excellence, dedication, and continuous growth that IBU strives to inspire in its students.

She enrolled in her bachelor studies at IBU in 2016 in the Banking and Finance department. During her studies, she expanded her international experience through the Erasmus+ Exchange Program at Ventspils University College in Latvia, gaining valuable cross-cultural and academic insights. Even as a student, her commitment to learning and academic engagement was evident as she began her early academic career at IBU as a Student Demonstrator, supporting teaching activities and contributing to the learning environment on campus.

Motivated to deepen her knowledge and expertise, she continued with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (2020–2021). Her growing interest in sustainability, green finance, and economic development led her to pursue a PhD in Economics, where she is currently researching sustainable economic growth, environmental policy, and development in European and Western Balkan countries.

She is an author of several scientific publications addressing topics such as sustainable financial products, banking stability during crises, renewable energy and green GDP, public debt thresholds, environmental regulations, carbon emissions, and innovation driven by environmental standards. Her research reflects a strong commitment to advancing knowledge and contributing to sustainable economic transformation.

Currently she serves as a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at IBU, a meaningful milestone that symbolizes her growth from a motivated undergraduate student to an academic contributing to the education of new generations.In parallel with her role as a teaching assistant, she has also served as the Assistant to the Vice Rector for Education for three years. She is currently engaged as the Assistant to the General Secretary at IBU.
